If you can’t get your vehicle to us, Carpenter’s Automotive Repair can come to you. Our mobile service provides on‑site diagnostics and repair support for customers who need help.
Mobile Labor Rate:$140/hr Applied to all on‑site calls where the vehicle cannot be safely driven or brought to the shop.
Travel Fee:
$25 for locations within 10 miles of Worthington, Ohio
+$2 per mile beyond 10 miles of Worthington, Ohio
Minimum Charge:
1 hour minimum for all mobile visits
Diagnostic Fee (If No Repair Is Performed):
$50 diagnostic fee applies when on‑site diagnostics are completed but no repair is authorized or possible at the time of service
Garage‑Based Repairs by Appointment
Our garage labor rate is $100/hr. All garage‑based repairs are scheduled by appointment only, and the service location is shared after booking to maintain customer privacy and an organized workflow.
Free Brake Inspection:
Bring your vehicle in for a no‑cost brake inspection. We’ll look over your pads, rotors, and braking components and explain everything in plain language so you know exactly what your vehicle needs.
Free Suspension Check:
Bring your vehicle in for a no‑cost suspension check. We’ll look over your shocks, struts, and steering components and explain everything in plain language so you know exactly what’s going on under your vehicle.
Instrument Warning Light Diagnostic — Starting at $100:
We use professional diagnostic tools to pinpoint the cause of dashboard warning lights and provide straightforward explanations with no pressure — just honest information about what your vehicle needs.
Headlight Restoration — $125.05:
We restore cloudy, yellowed, or faded headlights to improve visibility and nighttime safety. This service includes a full cleaning, sanding, polishing, and UV‑protective coating for long‑lasting clarity.
Tire Rotation Service - $18.00:
Rotating your tires helps them wear evenly so they last longer and keep your ride smooth. It also improves traction and reduces the chance of uneven wear that can lead to vibrations or alignment issues.
Oil Change — Starting at $50 (up to 5 qts):
We replace your oil and filter to keep your engine running smoothly. Routine oil changes help prevent wear, improve fuel economy, and keep your vehicle reliable.
Small Engine Service — Mowers & Other Equipment:
Whether it’s a push mower, riding mower, weed trimmer, leaf blower, or generator, we can help keep your small engines running strong. Push mowers are serviced at the garage by appointment, and riding mowers or larger equipment can be serviced at your home. We handle tune‑ups, cleaning, and troubleshooting to get your equipment working the way it should.
