Carpenter’s Automotive Repair — Warranty Policy

At Carpenter’s Automotive Repair, we stand behind the quality of our work and aim to provide honest, reliable service backed by clear and fair warranty coverage. Our warranty is designed to protect our customers while also reflecting the realities of independent automotive repair.

Labor Warranty

All labor performed by Carpenter’s Automotive Repair is covered by a 90‑day workmanship warranty. This warranty applies only to the specific repair or service completed and covers issues that arise due to installation or workmanship errors.

If a problem occurs within the warranty period and is determined to be caused by workmanship, the repair will be corrected at no labor cost to the customer.

Parts Warranty

All parts installed by Carpenter’s Automotive Repair are covered under the manufacturer’s warranty provided by the parts supplier (such as AutoZone, O’Reilly, NAPA, or Advance Auto Parts). Manufacturer warranties vary by part type and supplier but typically include free replacement of defective parts.

Manufacturer warranties do not cover labor.

Part Failure Policy

If a part fails due to a manufacturer defect and not due to workmanship:

  • The defective part will be replaced under the manufacturer’s warranty

  • Carpenter’s Automotive Repair will reinstall the replacement part at a reduced labor rate as a courtesy

  • If the failure is determined to be caused by installation or workmanship, labor will be provided at no charge

This policy ensures fairness while protecting both the customer and the technician.

Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

  • Failures caused by unrelated vehicle issues

  • Customer‑supplied parts

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Damage caused by accidents, misuse, or neglect

  • Diagnostic fees when no repair is performed
